So
it this just the same old house with just a new coat of paint
or what?
Many
packages have promised success, and some have done well in their
niche, so why does this guy feel he has "cornered the market"
with something different. Many of the steps he list in this book
I've read before (ok, so maybe he goes into more depth than I've
seen in areas) and all the books I've collected have made promises
to make the Sun rise in the West also, so why did I feel this
one might actually teach something new?
Why
reveal a Proven Method when you
can keep it to yourself?
I've
heard this question over and over, and I'm sure you have too.
If these methods work so well, why share it with anyone, much
less the entire Internet market? And I have PhotoShop, I can make
my ClickBank numbers look like a Bar Chart that you couldn't wait
to get yours looking like too so you could tell your boss "So
Long Sucker".
Perhaps its the fact that there are so many products out there
that it will work on most anything, or if he's like me, I can't
wait to tell someone when something works that I've spent so much
time trying to make successful.
Then he points out that he proved it by letting other people follow
his steps..
Ok,
its one thing to research the market, and create your own steps
of success, its another to read those steps and make it work for
yourself. But the majority of these guys that followed his plan
had success. They had success in different levels according to
their own efforts, but I guess that's the way most things go,
your success depends on following directions. Something like at
Christmas time when you have to put that bicycle together for
your kids, you don't want it ending up like a unicycle, follow
the steps.
When
you spill the beans, you might as well dump the whole can over...
I thought I had read it all, but there were so many points in
there that I had never heard before. Some actually made me laugh
out loud when I saw how I could spy on the pro's and see what
things they were promoting. Chris taught how to read the sales
charts from a web site I'd never heard of, and how to watch the
progress of a product, and when was the best time to start promoting
it, and when to move on. He continues on from an earlier book
he wrote, The
Adwords Miracle Guide so its like you're getting two books
in one, and tells how to find successful selling products from
data already in front of your face, and save you the effort of
trying to find whats working and not.
One thing that I've never agreed
with that some "Guru's" , and even Project X, are saying
is, "Watch how long an ad stay's running on Google Adwords,
that's a sure sign that they're making money". I don't agree
with that. I've been stupid and left an ad running longer that
it should have with shear hopes that someone will eventually see
it on a
payday or finally decide to buy it while my ads still running.
Just because my pockets were a little deeper and my ad ran longer
than others didn't mean it was selling like hotcakes.
So IMHO, the longevity of an ad doesn't mean it's successful.
Cold sales, Hard sell, Soft sell, just let me make "A"
sale...
Ok,
so there's more to a sale than just e-mailing your opt-in list,
I knew that, but what are some guidelines of how often, and what
to say in each progression. What convinces you each time you decide
to buy another product? Is there a formula to follow that makes
a sales pitch sound so smooth that you're digesting the worm before
it ever got off the hook?
Chris
explain's what to look for in writing
your first sales page. How to learn what the pro's use and
follow what's already working. Sure it takes some effort, but
the only place I know where success comes before work is in the
dictionary.

Downsides?
I
can say after diving into the reading because the description
of the product was so well written, that I hit a few "bumps"
that surprised me. Chris says ahead of time that spell checkers
can't catch grammer intents, and being from the UK, there are
a few terms that made you stop and think so you could follow the
logic, but nothing that kept me from understanding it as a whole.
Sometimes
there was a word or two missing, which again wouldn't be caught
by the spell checker. Hey Chris, now that you've become successful
and helped us understand what it takes to put a plan together
you can hire a proof-reader :) I can say that
because I know there's an ocean that separates us, lol.
